As the HR Director for Honeywell Building Automation Europe, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals. This senior leadership position entails providing strategic direction and coaching to senior leaders, ensuring HR initiatives support organizational objectives, including business and cultural transformation. You will partner with leadership to address business needs, offer HR guidance, and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs that enhance employee engagement and cultivate a positive work environment, thereby supporting the organization's overall growth and success.


You will report directly to our Vice President HR, Building Automation Europe and you’ll work out of our Ratingen location on a Hybrid work schedule.

  • Drive business and cultural transformation ensuring structured organizational design and change management programs
  • Lead Organization Design & Workforce Planning
    • Ensure the structure, jobs, & skills in the BA Europe match its long-term plans & goals while providing employees with meaningful career experiences
    • Develop & manage workforce strategies & align HR priorities to deliver business results
    • Assess & manage labor costs & efficiency
    • Drive BA Europe change, be aware of how the external market is evolving, & adapt to new ways of working to enable growth
  • Architect & Drive End-to-End Talent Strategies 
    • Design & own innovative talent solutions to find, hire, grow, & keep talent aligned to the BA Europe strategy
    • Expect & reward high performance, address problems, and calibrate performance assessment across teams
    • Make sure succession plans are up-to-date, healthy, and realistic
    • Identify upcoming talent and find opportunities to enable career growth in the business 
  • Partner with & Coach Leaders
    • Partner Senior BA Leaders & directs
    • Give candid, unbiased coaching, advice, & feedback to leaders & directs
    • Influence leaders to engage their workforce and foster a workplace wellbeing culture that values inclusion and diversity
  • Manage Critical Issues for the SBG/SBU in the Region
    • Delivery and management of Transition Projects, Repositioning, and the 6-step process
    • Tax Models
  • Contribute to BA Europe business success as part of the BA Europe HR Team
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and programs that align with business objectives and drive employee engagement
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements 
Qualifications

Qualifications

The candidate must be an experienced HR professional with proven success in leading organizational transformation in large and complex organizations within Europe with ability to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of professional HR experience (10 -15 years)
  • Success while operating in large, complex international/matrix organizations, with relatively independent and remote locations
  • Business Acumen 
  • Talent Architecture 
  • International HR experience preferred

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • HR degree (Master's/MBA preferred) with a focus on strategic HR
  • Solid HR Functional experience and knowledge of practices and legislation in Europe
  • Proven leader in change management within a matrixed environment
  • Performance and Results-oriented
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of setting priorities and balancing strategy with tactics
