And that’s where you come in: We’re looking for an exceptional B2C Marketing Lead to elevate our consumer marketing further in North America!
The role is open to candidates in New York City and Toronto. We are hybrid and this role requires minimum 3 days / week in office.
The role:
As the B2C Marketing Lead you have the responsibility of accelerating consumer demand across the US & Canada while building a sustainable, world class brand. You’ll play a critical strategic role in leading B2C Marketing for a high growth company defining and leading a new category. In doing so, you play a pivotal part in growing the food waste movement by inspiring and empowering everyone to fight food waste together.
You will report directly to the Head of Marketing for North America, and lead the B2C & Social media team. In this role, you will:
- Deliver outstanding integrated marketing communications across multiple channels (including digital, social, CRM, web, partner comms, more) with relevant business impact
- Lead B2C marketing campaigns and activations from ideation to execution with local and Global support
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to shape and roll out the B2C and brand strategy
- Lead development of consumer-facing content and storytelling for North America
- Elevate the CRM strategy, measurement and execution in collaboration with the Global centre of excellence
- Be the champion of consumer insights by leveraging data, consumer research and brand tracking to continuously improve our B2C activities
- Develop, apply and test growth marketing tactics to optimize the Too Good To Go marketplace
- Support the partner marketing team in collaboration with existing or prospective partners, including some of the biggest food retail brands in North America
- Collaborate closely with local and global marketing teams across PR, Partner marketing, User Acquisition, Creative, and Brand
- Lead the local B2C & Social media team to consistently deliver quality work
Our ideal candidate has:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer marketing, with a focus on full funnel consumer demand
- Hands-on experience planning and executing consumer marketing activities across digital and social channels
- Demonstrated capabilities in building or growing consumer brands
- Experience from marketing of a marketplace or an app-based product is a plus
- Deep insight to the US market and US consumer segments
- Passion for people leadership supported by minimum 2-3 years in a formal marketing leadership role
- A strong data driven mindset and a proven track record of using data to make better decisions
- Brilliant communication skills that allow you to storytell and sell to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience performing in a global matrix organisation and understanding of how to obtain necessary support from global support functions
- A track record of operating and leading in a high-growth organisation, with an ability to ruthlessly prioritise and adapt in a fast evolving environment.
- An ability to balance a high level of personal ambition with humility and curiosity to always learn and improve together
