B2B Sales Executive

Core responsibilities

• Approach prospective customers from an internally prepared target list, initially by telephone or similar outbound channels.
• Identify current procurement needs, particularly price pressure, product availability, lead times and supply continuity.
• Respond quickly to enquiries and secure customer meetings.
• Prepare and present proposals for semiconductors and electronic components.
• Maintain follow-up with customers so that relationships and revenue can build over time.
• Coordinate with overseas offices and suppliers, including occasional email communication in English.
• Travel to customer sites when required; the advert states that travel may occur one to two times per week depending on the customer base.

RequirementsMinimum requirements stated in the advert

• No formal educational qualification requirement.
• No previous sales or semiconductor/electronic components experience required; second-career and recent-graduate applicants welcomed.
• Valid Japanese driving licence; an automatic-transmission-only licence is acceptable because company cars are used for customer visits.
• Basic PC skills, described as being able to enter data into an Excel worksheet.
• Basic written English for simple reading and email communication.

Preferred experience

• Any sales or customer-facing experience, including retail, hospitality or service industries, regardless of sector or product.
