Job Summary
Under the direction of the Senior Director Competitive Intelligence, the B2B Competitive Intelligence Manager position will assist and contribute to the production of reports pertaining to the B2B telecom space as well as residential telecom services along with other peer and competitive deliverables. The position will also serve as the primary liaison to the B2B team on peer and competitive insights.
Responsibilities
• BUSINESS RESEARCH: Provide research and written analysis on B2B industry news, pricing information, and other competitive intelligence, and events with a focus on the telecommunications sector.• KEY STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: Present B2B report findings, respond to questions, and engage with key stakeholders across the B2B organization on requested changes to recurring deliverables.• PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Adhere to key deliverable and project deadlines, set the deliverables production timeline, communicate regularly with the team, and ensure that contributions from other team members are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in preferably in Marketing, Business, with proven research, writing, analytical, and data collection skills.• 5+ years of experience in business research, industry research, or competitive intelligence. Direct experience within the B2B telecom, wireless, Cable/Satellite TV, Media, or Consumer Electronics sectors would be a plus.• Must be detail oriented. Can see the big picture while at the same time managing details.• Must have excellent analytical, written, interpersonal, and proofreading skills. • Must be proficient with Powerpoint and Excel. Experience with other data software helpful.• A team player with strong initiative, flexibility, communication, and problem-solving skills.• Must be willing to collaborate with cross-functional team members to set goals for a project but work independently to see deliverables through.• Must work effectively under pressure to achieve priorities and meet client deadlines.
