Job Description

As an Integrations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in Fugro’s operational efficiency by spearheading the seamless integration of Applications, critical to our business processes. You are end-to-end responsible for the design and implementation of crucial integrations and API’s that facilitate the flow of data between software applications used globally within Fugro.

Leveraging Azure Integration Services, you will led the design, build, and delivery of integration solutions, ensuring the consistency of information across our enterprise systems. By monitoring performance metrics and advising both IT and Business management, you ensure effective support and cost control measures. Overall, your professional efforts are pivotal in streamlining our processes, improving decision-making and fostering continuous improvement across Fugro!

Your role

• You design and build robust integration patterns for Applications and developing API platforms;

• You analyze business requirements for automating information flow across enterprise platforms;

• You ensure integration solutions adhere to best practices and architecture principles and produce comprehensive documentation, including functional and support manuals;

• You advice on cost-efficient use of Azure components to manage operational expenditures (OPEX);

• You provide guidance on security measures to address integration-related security implications;

• You review integration capabilities during software product selection processes to ensure compatibility and efficiency;

• You contribute to the development of business continuity strategies for integrations, to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• You provide 3rd line support for integration solutions, addressing and troubleshooting incidents, performing core issue analysis and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence;

Your track record

• You have a BSc or MSc degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field;

• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated work experience in an international project-based company, and hands-on experience in Azure Integration Services (Services bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Functions);

• Experience using hosting and managing API’s via Azure API Management

• Proficient in writing API’s in .Net, hosting App Services, static web apps.

• You have the proven ability to establish, maintain and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for both existing and new services;

• You are proficient in any IAC (Infrastructure as a Code) like bicep or terraform for creating build and release pipelines;

• You have strong understanding of Web Services, OData v4 Web Services, JSON and XML message formats.

• You also have knowledge of building near real-time integrations;

• As a plus, you have Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104/AZ-204/AZ-305, Azure Architect or TOGAF;

• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral
