As an Azure Cloud Data Engineer, you will build and further develop scalable, secure Azure-based cloud platforms within enterprise programmes spanning automotive, e-mobility and other sectors, working hands-on across infrastructure, automation and platform engineering.

• Platform Engineering: Build out and continually develop Azure cloud platforms with a focus on stable and scalable infrastructure components.
• Infrastructure as Code: Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure with Terraform, with particular focus on networking and storage.
• Data Platform Integration: Work alongside Databricks workloads, ensuring infrastructure supports robust data engineering and analytics use cases.
• CI/CD & Automation: Build and maintain pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins to support reliable, repeatable deployments.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with design, implementation and operations teams across a mix of hands-on delivery and conceptual development.
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to best practices, internal standards and reusable solution approaches across the wider engineering organisation.
Qualifikation
• At least four years of relevant project experience in cloud infrastructure and engineering roles.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure, with a clear focus on networking and storage.
• Strong working experience with Databricks in production environments.
• Proven capability with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code at scale.
• Practical experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• Willingness to travel where programme delivery requires, with strong professional English and good German skills (B2 minimum).
