The Role

Key about your role

We are looking for an experienced Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD Engineer to help elevate our SaaS operations and internal deployment processes to the next level.

We aim to take Operations to the next level by onboarding more skilled human power (you) and using your expertise to refine and modernize our existing Azure setup. The goal is to make it more elegant, clean, and scalable.

As a central figure in the infrastructure everyone depends on, communication and collaboration will be a natural part of your work. You will provide ad hoc support to colleagues and customer representatives, contributing directly to the stability and growth of our platform.

We work with two layers of deployments:

  • Platform deployments: Low frequency (around once per month), planned well in advance.
  • Customer component deployments: Higher frequency (around once per week), shorter planning horizon.

Both typically take place outside normal office hours. For these, you will be compensated with time off from your regular schedule. Deployments usually last about 15 minutes, with occasional on-call backup needed for unforeseen issues (fortunately, rare). Your work will revolve around three main areas as follows:

Key responsibilities:

  • Environments: Refining and improving the setup of our internal and external environments in a beautiful Kubernetes architecture in Azure.
  • CI/CD: Configuring, maintaining and continuously improving our entire CI/CD universe.
  • Operations: Participate actively in operations tasks, maintenance windows, deployments, and incident debugging.
    Together with the small operations team, ensure our platform runs smoothly 24/7.

There is a lot more behind the Platform than a simple list of tools can show. Instead of giving you a long inventory, we would rather have an informal conversation where we can explore the details together.

Our Obex Team

Our main product is our Obex Platform, a SaaS solution for financial advisory used by advisors in a variety of pension funds and banks. We are proud that finances of an estimated two million Danes have been through our software. The Obex Platform is developed in close collaboration with our customers, resulting in a product that users truly appreciate. That energy drives us forward.

Obex, is a business unit of Keylane, employing around twenty-five awesome developers, business analysts and a few other professions. We aim for the best solutions, not for rigid conformity. We believe in mutual elasticity: We go the extra mile to support you, each other, and our customers.

Requirements
  • You are fluent in Kubernetes, have solid experience with Azure services, virtual network configuration, and Azure DevOps.
  • You know your way around log and performance monitoring tools and have a passion for clean, well-architected systems.
  • You are not content with things merely working, you want them to work beautifully.
  • Our platform uses .NET on the backend, React with Typescript on the frontend, and Aspire for local development orchestration. Experience with these technologies is a plus.
