Azure AI Engineer (LLM & Copilot)Experience: 5–6 years
We are looking for an experienced Azure AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications on Microsoft Azure. You will work with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Copilot Studio, and Power Platform to develop enterprise-grade chatbots, knowledge assistants, and AI copilots.
You will collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions that drive business impact.
AI Solution Development
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, including chatbots, knowledge assistants, and enterprise copilots
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using Azure AI Search, vector search, and enterprise knowledge sources
- Integrate Azure OpenAI and other LLM providers into business applications and workflows
- Develop AI solutions using Python and/or C#
- Deploy and manage AI applications on Azure using services such as Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, and Virtual Machines
- Configure and manage Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and related Azure resources
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, compliance, and scalability
- Design and build custom copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Integrate AI capabilities into business processes using Power Platform
- Develop conversational experiences and knowledge assistants for internal and external users
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
- Support MLOps and AI application lifecycle management
- Monitor application performance, reliability, usage, and costs using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Maintain technical documentation and reusable solution assets
- Stay up to date with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, and emerging LLM technologies
- Recommend improvements and best practices for AI solution architecture and delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, AI solutions, or related technical roles
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI
- Experience building and deploying AI/LLM applications in production environments
- Strong experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval solutions
- Experience with Azure AI Search or equivalent vector search technologies
- Experience developing solutions using Python and/or C#
- Experience deploying applications and services on Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Understanding of Azure security, governance, and compliance best practices
- Experience working with REST APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, LMS, or HR systems
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, model optimization, and fine-tuning
- Experience with multi-LLM architectures and orchestration
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
- Microsoft certifications such as AI-102, AZ-204, DP-100, or AZ-400
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field
