MidFirst Bank is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Wealth Planner to join our Private Wealth team.

Role Summary:

The Wealth Planner is a key member of the Private Wealth team responsible for delivering high-quality, comprehensive financial planning to our affluent clients. This role partners closely with Wealth Advisors, Trust Advisors and Portfolio Managers to provide sophisticated planning strategies that support complex client goals. The Wealth Planner will spend the majority of their time deepening client relationships by designing and presenting financial plans to support exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive financial plans using cash flow planning software, integrating cash‑flow modeling, Monte Carlo simulations, retirement income strategies, and multi‑scenario stress testing.
  • Enter, validate, and maintain client data within financial planning applications; ensure accuracy of assumptions and outputs.
  • Draft planning summaries, recommendations, and client-ready deliverables with limited oversight
  • Support estate planning by preparing net-worth statements, trust projections, liquidity analyses, and wealth-transfer scenarios.
  • Create modular analyses (retirement, tax, estate, insurance, education, business succession, philanthropic) to support client conversations.
  • Conduct scenario modeling and projections to evaluate planning alternatives and trade-offs.
  • Participate in and lead client meetings as appropriate to gather data, clearly articulate planning concepts and methodologies, address technical questions and present financial plans.
  • Distill complex planning concepts into clear, actionable guidance tailored to sophisticated clients.
  • Serve as an ongoing resource to client-facing Wealth Advisors, Trust Advisors and Portfolio Managers.
  • Create wealth planning collateral and resources related to retirement, education, insurance, estate planning, business succession, philanthropic and other planning-related material to support clients and internal partners.
  • Support business development by preparing pre-meeting planning insights for prospective clients.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, workflows and client experience standards.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience drafting and presenting financial plans to clients and prospects
  • Proficiency with eMoney or other cash flow financial planning software applications (required)
  • CFP® designation or advanced credentials (CPA, JD, LL.M.) required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive financial plans including retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and risk management strategies
  • Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients, business owners, and multi-generational families.
  • Expert understanding of business succession, estate, philanthropic, insurance, education, and financial planning concepts, including applicable legal, tax, and regulatory requirements
  • Specialization in tax or business succession planning a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to sophisticated clients
  • High attention to detail; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Client-service orientation with ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Travel Required up to 40%
