Job Description: The architect is expected to design, oversee, and guide the infrastructure and deployment strategy, ensuring that development and production environments follow AWS best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures using AWS services.
- Implement security policies and access controls with IAM, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Automate infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
- Guide and mentor the development team on technical decisions and AWS best practices.
Requirements
More than 3 years of experience in related functions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering.
Core AWS Skills:
- AWS CLI: Proficiency with commandline tools to manage AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.)
- AWS Services:
- Compute: EC2, Lambda.
- Storage: S3.
- Networking: VPC, Route 53, CloudFront.
- IAM: Role-based access controls, policies.
- DevOps: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): CloudFormation or Terraform.
DevOps / CI/CD:
- Pipeline Design: Understanding of CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Build Tools: Integration with npm builds, Docker if containerized.
- Security & Monitoring: Knowledge of CloudWatch, AWS Config, GuardDuty.
General Development Understanding:
- Familiarity with Frontend & Backend: To coordinate architecture for apps using Angular (frontend) and Node.js/Python (backend).
Soft Skills:
Solution Design: Ability to design scalable and secure cloud-native applications.
Mentoring: Guide the dev team on architecture decisions.
