AWG Sales Leader
Location: Kansas City, KS
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic commercial leader to join our team as the AWG Sales Team Leader in Kansas City. The successful candidate will lead a team, interact directly with customers, drive sales strategies, ensure customer satisfaction, understands the customer needs and negotiate favorable terms to deliver accelerated category growth and value creation. The team leader will orchestrate across functions, categories, and local operations team to deliver outcomes and translate category growth strategies across all touchpoints into winning local strategies and plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Understand and influence customer strategies and senior leadership, serving as the primary company contact for all cross-functional issues with the customer. Lead Joint Business Planning to deliver P&G's objectives in line with company stewardship.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and develop a team, allocating resources effectively on joint business projects with customers to achieve best results. Ensure a development plan for everyone on the team.
Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the direct corporate interface between the customer and the company. Develop strong internal and external customer strategic relationships.
Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Operational Excellence: Work with minimal supervision, determining work priorities and defining how work should be accomplished. Ensure compliance with relevant external (legal, tax) and internal (e.g., decision authority, procure to pay) stewardship requirements.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven Sales experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Demonstrated ability to drive sales strategies and achieve growth objectives.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing customer-oriented teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
Experience in developing strategic relationships within an organization.
Able to work independently and make decisions within the scope of the role.
Wholesale experience preferred.
