About the job
As an Avaloq Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions within the Avaloq Core Banking System, and supporting implementation and testing phases. You will work closely with clients, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of banking solutions.
 
Job requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields
• Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) with 8+ years’ experience in customisation and implementation of Avaloq Banking System
  Subject matter expert of several Avaloq modules (Functional and Technical)
• Expert skills with Avaloq development tools ICE and SQL Developer as well as Avaloq change life cycle. 
• Prior Experience working with Avaloq Database Automation and Integration (ADAI) will be advantageous.
• Expert parameterisation skills in core Avaloq concepts: Avaloq scripts, Cost & Fees, Order Validations & workflow management, Book and Balance engines, Interfaces, Avaloq messaging interface (AMI), Task and Reporting framework etc. 
• Strong understanding of Avaloq concepts such as EOD, Pillars and Rule loading. 
• Experience with Avaloq smart client and functional understanding of various modules (Forms, Task and reporting desk, Central Services, Portfolio desk etc.) 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Job responsibilities

• Manage and perform Avaloq design reviews and code audits and define best coding practices for the platform with focus on scalability, sustainability and customer service. 
• Analyze and document business requirements and processes.
• Evaluate scenarios and recommend optimal business and IT solutions.
• Design and document business solutions using Avaloq tools and methodologies.
• Participate in workshops and client meetings to validate solutions.
• Support system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations.
• Maintain and improve Avaloq modules and components.
