Who You Are
You are a professional who has successfully led complex, strategic business programs in the P&C industry. You are passionate about execution and solving challenging problems. You are collaborative and able to work with all types of people from front line staff to highly technical experts. You value direct communication and view it as critical to identifying issues and mitigating risks. You have a strong knowledge of project management methodologies but also know how to “right-size” them to fit a specific program/project. You lead by example when challenges are encountered by remaining level-headed and keeping teams focused on solutions. You enjoy working hard in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Lead and deliver on strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams, including product, underwriting, technology, operations, actuarial, finance, and more.
Manage the full scope of strategic programs to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
Provide objectivity and transparency on program status and effectively communicate to executive leadership.
Collaborate with Business Architecture and IT teams to execute core application development and other critical technology initiatives.
Delve into the details of cross-functional problems, providing structure and direction to get work back on track.
Leverage data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement in systems, processes, and operational models.
Critically assess operational processes and organizational models and identify ways to optimize the target state.
Manage strategic relationships and external vendors.

For NJ: The salary range for this role is $170,000 to $210,000 plus eligibility to participate in Everest’s Annual Incentive Plan at the discretion of the Company. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills, geographic location, experience, and other factors. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
