The Associate Vice President (AVP), Sales is responsible for driving net new revenue growth, expanding Uprise Health’s market presence, and strengthening strategic relationships across the broker, consultant, and employer ecosystem. This role serves as a highly visible market-facing leader focused on generating pipeline, closing new business, and positioning Uprise Health as a differentiated behavioral health and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) partner.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and relationship-driven sales executive with deep experience in the employee benefits and healthcare ecosystem. This individual must be highly consultative, commercially minded, and capable of influencing brokers, consultants, HR leaders, and executive decision-makers through a combination of industry expertise, credibility, and strong sales execution.
This role partners closely with executive leadership, account management, marketing, and product teams to drive growth, provide market intelligence, and help shape Uprise Health’s go-to-market strategy.
Uprise Health Pay Range: $160,000 - $200,000 USD (base salary plus commissions)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Build, manage, and advance a strategic sales pipeline to drive net new revenue
- Meet and exceed annual sales quotas and pipeline development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, employers, and strategic partners.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the employee benefits and behavioral health space.
- Position and differentiate Uprise Health against incumbent providers and point solution
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and finalist meetings to HR leaders, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with leadership to expand market visibility through networking, conferences, Lunch & Learns, and strategic relationship-building activities.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support sales strategy, pricing, positioning, and product development.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, activity tracking, and CRM documentation within
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a consultative sales
- 5+ years’ experience in, and deep understanding of, the employee benefits space, including buyer behavior, sales cycles, and decision criteria.
- Strong broker and consultant relationships within the employee benefits and healthcare
- Experience within behavioral health, mental health, EAP, digital health, healthcare navigation, or related industries preferred.
- Skilled in prospect qualification, pipeline management, negotiations, and closing complex opportunities.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to articulate clinical, operational, and financial value propositions to employer and consultant audiences.
- Highly self-motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a close-knit, cross-functional
- Experience with CRM systems, ideally com, with strong forecasting and pipeline management discipline.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support relationship development and sales activities.
