The AVP, People Systems and Integrations is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and support of Workday integrations and related HR technology solutions. This role provides managerial oversight to specialized contingent workers while serving as the primary technical liaison between HR Systems, Enterprise IT, Security, and business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in Workday integrations, data management, and HR technology architecture with strong leadership skills to drive operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement across the People Technology landscape.
Workday Integration Leadership
Own the design, implementation, and support of Workday integrations and data exchanges.
Lead the development and maintenance of Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, PICOF, CCB, RaaS, and API-based integrations.
Ensure reliable integration between Workday and downstream systems including payroll, benefits, identity management, finance, recruiting, learning, and third-party vendors.
Establish integration standards, governance, monitoring, and documentation practices.
Drive continuous improvement to optimize data quality, system performance, and operational efficiency.
Technical Liaison to IT
Serve as the primary point of contact between the People Systems organization and Enterprise IT teams.
Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Identity Management, and Integration teams on technical solutions and strategic initiatives.
Translate business and HR requirements into scalable technical designs.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and data governance standards.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate resolution of complex integration and system issues.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Finance teams to understand business requirements.
Collaborate with Workday, Cornerstone and third-party vendors to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
Manage stakeholder expectations, project communications, and executive updates.
Facilitate prioritization discussions and roadmap planning for People Systems initiatives.
Project & Program Delivery
Lead integration-related projects through all phases, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Workday releases and new implementations.
Establish project governance, risk management, and quality assurance practices.
Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and organizational transformation initiatives involving employee data and system integrations.
Required Qualifications
Experience supporting Workday and HR technology ecosystems.
Experience scoping and overseeing the quality of work performed by others (either direct reports or contingent workers)

Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Workday Integration Certification(s).
Experience supporting global HR operations and payroll integrations.
Knowledge of HR data privacy regulations and security frameworks.
Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
PMP, Scrum Master, or related certifications
Pay Range:
$116,081.00 - $193,537.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
