Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Investor Relations is responsible for supporting the Investor Relations and Finance teams with actionable data and insightful analysis for inclusion in key communications. They will have direct ownership of all deliverables relating to sell-side analyst projections, peer tracking, buy- and sell-side engagement, managing the investor relations website and ensuring strong team organization and controls. In addition, they will partner closely with the Financial, Planning & Analysis, Public Relations and Corporate Governance leadership teams to optimize the content of our corporate disclosures.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Track analyst projections and ensure accuracy of published reports
- Assist in preparation of key earnings materials and investor conference materials
- Prepare shareholder targeting and composition analysis
- Conduct competitive peer analysis and briefing reports for meetings
- Liaise regularly with FP&A and Controllership counterparts to ensure alignment of teams, processes and deliverables
- Create weekly/monthly tracking reports summarizing Street engagement, stock performance and peer disclosures
- Maintain investor relations website
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA, CFA or CPA a plus or in lieu of degree, 10 years equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years in finance, capital markets/treasury, investor relations or buy-/sell-side
- Strong understanding of credit card industry and relevant financial metrics and drivers
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to learn and regularly utilize Bloomberg, Visible Alpha, IHS Markit (Ipreo BD Corporate) and Wdesk
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

- Deep experience with financial models and demonstrated ability to run projections, scenario analysis, and synthesize key data points into insights

Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
