Role Summary

As AVP, Financial Reporting, Governance & Control, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial and regulatory reporting. You will oversee governance and control frameworks, support regulatory compliance, and help drive continuous improvement across reporting processes and finance operations.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, regulators, auditors, Head Office, and business teams while contributing to strategic initiatives that support ING's growth and resilience.

About the Team

You will be part of the Finance team, working in a collaborative environment that values accountability, continuous improvement, and stakeholder partnership. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality financial and regulatory reporting, maintaining strong governance standards, and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial and regulatory reporting in line with ING policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support financial statement preparation and external audit activities.
  • Analyze reporting results, investigate variances, and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor developments in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, translating them into practical business guidance.
  • Strengthen governance and internal control frameworks across financial and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
  • Partner with business, risk, compliance, and operations teams on new products, projects, and regulatory initiatives.
  • Oversee outsourced finance-related activities and ensure service quality standards are met.
  • Support strategic change programs, system implementations, and reporting transformation initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, financial control, audit, or finance governance within banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/PFRS and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Understanding of banking regulatory requirements and reporting obligations.
  • Experience working with regulators, auditors, and regional or global stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage change, improve processes, and strengthen controls.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Skills Required
