The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer to develop and implement automated test scripts for a government financial management system. This position will focus on creating, executing, and maintaining automated test cases to ensure the quality and performance of the system.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using approved VA testing tools and processes
Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing
Map test cases to the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Deliver working automated test scripts along with corresponding test results
Report on the status of test automation in weekly/monthly reports
Participate in the development of the Automation Test Plan
Generate Automated Test Execution Results after each test execution
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in software test automation
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired:
Experience with government financial management systems or Momentum Financials.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Performance and load testing automation experience
Experience with UIPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or other automation software

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
