Automation Senior Engineer

The selected candidate will be responsible for Define and improve the standards of machines applicable to the Engineering Designing function for all areas in Manufacturing. Furthered he/she will be responsible for improve reliability and to ensure equipment durability following the defined maintenance strategy including criticality (At optimum costs). Moreover, train and propagate knowledge and competency for maintenance actions Will also be a part of the role.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Compliance of Machine technical documentation and of associated instructions (safety, quality, response procedures and backup).
  • Maintenance instructions (setting, commissioning, adjustment, calibration, etc.) carried out and applied.
  • Existence and relevance of technical analysis, maintenance plans, and obsolescence plans.
  • Efficiency of assistance interventions (responses to the demands of operational maintenance on breakdowns and corrective action plan to avoid recurring problems).
  • Technical parameters under control (Machine technical parameters for the Process -MTP).
  • Improved efficiency (machine availability, reliability, performance improvement)
  • Improvement of maintenance skills (tutoring, coaching, training materials, assistive devices for maintenance, 'one-point lessons).

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed academic body.
  • Preferred Minimum 5 years’ of relevant work experience in the field of Automation /Electrical engineering as a project leader or project support.
  • Experience with PLC programming standards & programming software. Specific experience with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens is a plus.
  • Experience with HMI configuration, programming and communication. Specific experience with Rockwell will also be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency drives and Motion Control technologies.   Specific experience with Rockwell, Siemens and Control Techniques is a plus.
  • Experience in robotics maintenance & trouble shooting.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and standards, and should be able to apply this knowledge to their work.
  • Knowledge about hydraulics system and its operation will be an added advantage.
  • He/ She require to have demonstrated excellent leadership skills, Project Management skills & Teamwork. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint, Teams).
