Job Description

Our QA Engineers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction. 

QA Engineer role assumes that candidate will be taking active participation in overall QA activities in SCRUM team that includes test scenario implementation and execution for User Stories (both manual and automated but with focus on automation part), working closely with other stakeholders like Product Owner, System Designer, Business Representatives to ensure best possible product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in Software Industry with Quality Assurance Process, preferably experience in Automation Testing of Web applications, Client/Server environments using Agile and Scrum test methodologies.
  • Experience developing test automation scripts to cover the demand of the business and technical requirements.
  • Well conversant in performing White, Black and Grey Box testing on both.
  • Proficient in writing, executing, and managing Test Cases, Bug Reporting and Tracking Defects.
  • Expertise on triaging internal/customer defects.
  • Good experience in analyzing changes and identifying areas of the application to be Regression tested.
  • Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Scenarios from business, Thorough hands-on experience with all levels of testing including Sanity, Usability, Smoke, Functional, Integration, Regression, End to End and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Team Player, self-motivated, highly productive, continuous learner.
  • Open to collaborating with other development areas.

Qualifications

Must have skills:

  • 3+ years directly relevant experience as Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in Test Automation
  • Experience of working within Agile SDLC processes.
  • Preferably good knowledge about C# and .NET Framework tech stack.
  • Alternatively, any other tech stack like Java or JavaScript is acceptable with willing to learn target technology stack
  • Clear understanding and experience of CI/CD.
  • Database skills (SQL Server preferred)
  • Experience in working with any defect tracking tool, like Jira.
  • Experience in building test automation for WebApps using Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright or similar.
  • Experience in building test automation for API
  • Experience in both manual and automation testing of Web services.
  • Experience with non-functional testing
  • Good communication skills with fluent English.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work methodically.

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Postman/SoapUI/ similar tool to test API
  • Finance sector experience would be preferred and extremely advantageous
  • Experience in designing and executing non-functional test scenario (performance testing)
  • Knowledge about Windows IIS Service
  • Good knowledge about Cloud solutions in Azure or AWS
