Main purpose of the Automation Engineer is to  design, implement, and maintain automated systems and processes that enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure consistent product quality in alignment with company standards and continuous improvement goals.
What will your responsibilities be?

Automation System Design & Implementation
  • Develop and implement automation solutions for production lines, including robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate automation into existing processes.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Monitor the performance of automated systems and perform root cause analysis for any failures or inefficiencies.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues.
Process Optimization
  • Analyze production data to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives by automating repetitive or error-prone tasks.
Project Management
  • Lead or support automation projects from concept through commissioning.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance specifications.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, control logic, and user manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
Training & Support
  • Train maintenance and production staff on the operation and basic troubleshooting of automated systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and updates to ensure long-term system reliability.

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering or a related technical field
  • 2–5 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the automotive or textile sector
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning and maintaining automated systems
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of industrial robotics (e.g., ABB, KUKA, FANUC)
  • Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Project management and time management skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
