Summary of the Job:
About This Role:
- Apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the Agile lifecycle
- Drive ‘Quality / Automation as a Team Mindset’ within the team
- Exhibit domain knowledge and product expertise for supported applications
- Decompose stories/business requirements into test cases that clearly articulate test objectives, steps, and expected results
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate/perform and document results of test execution
- Report, track, and retest defects/bugs prior to release
- Ability to build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain effective test automation solutions with minimal guidance and direction
- Participate in and conduct regular test case peer reviews and automation code reviews
- Collaborate with their delivery team to build automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
- Analyze and understand the current technology architecture, system interdependencies and application stacks
- Exhibit initiative for self-learning of new technical skills and tools to grow in role
- Can work independently researching, solving, and programming automation solutions
- Helps cross-train and mentor new team members
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or certifications
1-3 years experience using UI automation tools - examples: Smartbear suite (Testcomplete, QA Complete, Selenium / Appium, Cypress
1-3 years hands-on experience scripting with JavaScript and / or Java
Additional scripting experience a plus: C#, Powershell, XML
1-3 years experience in web, API, microservices, database automation
Mobile testing experience - a plus
Experience with API testing automation such as Postman, ReadyAPI, Swagger
Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
Ability to build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain effective test automation solutions
Knowledge of MS Office: Work, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $69,616.00-$114,867.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are.
