This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes while working for a leading global food company. As an Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our factory automation systems, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Second-Line Support: Provide support for factory electrical automation and automation systems, assisting shift-based personnel in resolving breakdowns and understanding failure modes.
  • Troubleshooting & Analysis: Investigate, monitor, and eliminate recurring failure modes to support the breakdown analysis process.
  • Process Development: Participate in process development activities, including process design, specification, and commissioning.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate consumer-centric process specifications and internal documentation independently.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with a manager and technical coaches to implement projects aligned with the Manufacturing Team, Business Development as well as Maintenance & Repair
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project statuses, risks, and technical information to stakeholders.

What You Will Bring
  • Strong problem-solving competence and a proactive approach.
  • A passion for automation and a desire to learn and grow.
  • A recent degree in Automation Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of automation principles and systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.

Extra Ingredients to make your adventure a success:
  • Fluency in German (minimum B2) and English.
  • Experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation systems is a plus
