The Automation Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise automation, AI, and agent-based solutions that improve business processes, productivity, and digital experiences. Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, large language models (LLMs), and other AI-driven technologies, this role delivers scalable applications, workflows, integrations, copilots, and AI agents that drive operational efficiency and business value.
The Automation Developer partners with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate requirements into secure, innovative solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, governance, and responsible AI practices. This role serves as a technical subject matter expert, providing design, development, advanced support, troubleshooting, and administration across automation and AI platforms, while continuously evaluating emerging technologies to accelerate automation, enhance employee experiences, and drive innovation.
Main Responsibilities- Design, develop, and support enterprise automation, AI, and agent-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Azure Foundry and related technologies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions that improve productivity and business outcomes.
- Build and maintain applications, workflows, copilots, AI agents, dashboards, and integrations across Microsoft 365 and connected enterprise systems.
- Administer and support Power Platform, Copilot, and AI environments, including governance, security, licensing, monitoring, consumption and adoption.
- Support user enablement, adoption, and training initiatives across automation and AI platforms
- Serve as the Tier 3 SME for automation and AI platforms, providing advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, architecture, and technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and responsible AI practices.
- Develop technical documentation, standards, and best practices to support solution delivery and operational support.
- Evaluate emerging AI, Copilot, and automation capabilities and recommend innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement. Contribute to incident response and capacity planning, assisting in high-priority outage resolutions and proactive maintenance activities.
- Continuously assess and automate critical service testing to ensure stability during patching and upgrades.
- Other responsibilities will be included as part of Infrastructure Services initiatives within the Collaboration & Automation space.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
·4+ years of experience designing, developing, & supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform & Microsoft Copilot.
·Experience building & supporting enterprise AI solutions using Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, LLM technologies, and AI agents.
·Experience developing applications, workflows, copilots, agents, and integrations using Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, APIs, and connectors.
·Knowledge of AI concepts including prompt engineering, grounding, agent design, and responsible AI practices.
·Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex enterprise solutions in a Tier 3 support environment.
·Understanding of Power Platform & Microsoft Copilot/agent governance, security, compliance, and environment administration.
·Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
·Ability to evaluate emerging AI, Copilot, and automation technologies and drive innovation.
·Experience working in Agile delivery environments and managing multiple priorities.
·Experience evaluating platform consumption, licensing, and solution design to optimize cost, scalability, and business value
·Experience working with data sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 services) to build scalable business applications.
·Knowledge of SharePoint List architecture, delegation considerations, indexing, and best practices for integrating SharePoint and Dataverse with Power Platform applications.

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$104,000-$143,000Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
