🔧 Key Responsibilities
Develop Production-Ready Revit Plugins
- Design and build C#/.NET Revit plugins, add-ins, external commands, event handlers, updaters, and applications
- Deliver high-quality solutions that meet performance, functionality, and compatibility requirements
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
Automate AEC Workflows
- Transform BIM and construction workflows into scalable automation solutions
- Partner with BIM Managers and AEC experts to identify process improvements
- Leverage Revit API, Dynamo, and related technologies to reduce manual effort and improve model quality
Contribute to Technical Architecture
- Participate in requirements gathering and solution design
- Develop maintainable architectures for data extraction, model manipulation, interoperability, and user experience
Develop Revit User Interfaces
- Build plugin interfaces using WPF, WinForms, and Revit dockable panels
- Create intuitive user experiences that align with Revit UI standards
Data Extraction & Interoperability
- Extract, transform, and export BIM data including elements, parameters, schedules, and geometry
- Support IFC, gbXML, and custom export workflows
- Contribute to cloud-connected data services and integrations
Testing, Deployment & Quality
- Implement unit and integration testing using frameworks such as xUnit and RevitTestFramework
- Support multi-version Revit compatibility
- Assist with packaging, signing, deployment, and installer creation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with BIM Managers, Project Managers, and AEC stakeholders
- Communicate technical requirements, risks, and API limitations effectively
AI & Automation Innovation
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI and automation within BIM workflows
- Support solutions involving model checking, geometry inference, intelligent parameter population, and natural language BIM interactions
