Job Title: Automated Tester
Location: Hybrid, Rosslyn, VA
Clearance Level: Secret, Must Have Clearance to Start

Job Description

    The automated tester will review and analyze functional requirements and developed software to create testing plans to ensure quality delivery.  Using enterprise automation tools, they will create and maintain an automation suite to ensure repeatable tests after code builds and delivery.  They will review documentation and perform stakeholder interviews to tailor testing plans to ensure user acceptance and production success.  The tester will work closely with the development team to include automation that satisfies highly technical, backend database driven requirements to be included as part of the program’s growing DevSecOps structure.
     
    Responsibilities:
  • Support development of Python-based tools for document scanning, extraction, and processing
  • Assist in automating workflows using PowerShell and Microsoft 365 services
  • Work with SharePoint Online libraries, metadata, and document structures
  • Contribute to data migration activities from file shares to SharePoint Online
  • Help implement and test document classification and records management processes
  • Analyze file metadata and content to support categorization and compliance efforts
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on integrating AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI)
  • Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of automation pipelines
  • Document scripts, processes, and technical configurations

Education and Background

  • High School Diploma or equivalent(GED) required.

Years of Experience

    5+ years of experience

Required Skills

    The successful candidate will have experience in the following:
  • 2+ years in software testing or development
  • Familiarity with SQL databases of any kind
  • Building tests in an automated testing tool (AccelQ preferred but not required)
  • Performance testing experiencing is a plus but not required

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of records management or information governance concepts
  • Exposure to Azure services or other cloud-based tools
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data
  • Willingness to learn and grow in AI-enabled solutions

Working Conditions

    Onsite twice a week in Rosslyn, VA

Skills Required
