About this opportunity:
We are looking for an Automated Operations Engineer to support reliable, efficient, and high-quality network operations. In this role, you will monitor network performance, analyze incidents, coordinate resolution activities, and contribute to continuous improvements across operational processes.
You will work closely with operations, engineering, and support teams to help maintain service stability and deliver effective customer outcomes in a dynamic telecommunications environment.
What you will do
- Monitor network alarms, events, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify service-impacting conditions and operational trends.
- Perform incident analysis and troubleshooting, using available operational data and tools to identify causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Register, document, track, and manage incidents throughout their lifecycle in accordance with established processes.
- Escalate incidents to the appropriate technical teams and stakeholders based on impact, urgency, and defined procedures.
- Support major incident management activities, including coordination, communication, status updates, and follow-up actions.
- Support planned maintenance activities and help verify service stability following implementation.}
- Produce accurate and timely operational reports, including incident summaries, performance trends, and relevant KPI insights.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation opportunities, knowledge sharing, and initiatives that increase operational efficiency and service quality.
What you will bring
- Bachelor degree in Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Knowledge of telecommunications technologies and Operations Support Systems (OSS) tools.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of incident management principles, processes, and lifecycle practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and prioritize actions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly during service-impacting situations.
- A structured and customer-focused approach to operational work.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and collaborative during incidents and high-priority events.
- Commitment to accurate documentation, follow-through, and continuous learning.
- Willingness to work across teams and follow defined operational, security, and escalation procedures.
Skills Required
