Position Summary

The Audit Review Analyst II is responsible for assessing, identifying, and reporting on credit risks and the overall quality of the Bank's loan portfolio through loan file and portfolio examinations, stress testing, and timely submission of reports to the Director of Loan Review.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete process reviews and data collection as appropriate.
  • Support 3rd party review consultants - project set-up; requesting system/hardware access; providing system training and request materials; researching questions & requests related to financials & documentation; and perform quality control review of financial exception reporting.
  • Oversee related administrative tasks including project set-up through close, documentation of procedures/templates, draft report & response management, and uploading final data & reports
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly loan reports that supplement testing and analytics.
  • Completing Level 2 and 3 audit procedures for scheduled reviews for all borrowers with the appropriate level of support based on the complexity of the review from a Credit/Audit III or Director.
  • Attend quarterly management & Reserve meetings.
  • Collaborate with various committees or special project groups as needed
  • Develop training programs/materials, provide training for new Audit Review Analysts, and provide mentoring to Audit Review I Analysts
  • Provide process and procedural improvement recommendations to the Director.

Education & Experience

Knowledge of:

  • Basic understanding of financial statements
  • General loan & collateral documentation
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills - focused on Word and Excel

Education and Training:

  • Minimum Associates Degree in finance, accounting, or economics
  • In lieu of a degree, 3+ years of commercial loan experience (i.e. loan coordinator, loan documentation, commercial post-closing) or audit experience.
