Job Description:
Overview:
The Audit Associate assists in performing financial audits for clients across various industries. They work closely with audit senior associates and audit managers when assigned to client engagements.
Auditors at all levels have the responsibility to uphold the public trust and must demonstrate this with a commitment to supporting a culture of high integrity, performance, ethical behavior, and sound risk management in their daily practice.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and execution of audits.
Perform audit procedures.
Prepare clear and organized audit workpapers that document and support the audit findings and conclusions.
Work collaboratively with audit team members to ensure quality deliverables are developed and deadlines are met.
Contribute to a positive team environment by working efficiently and providing support to team members as needed.
Communicate with clients to obtain documentation and information necessary to perform the audit.
Discuss audit findings and recommendations with senior auditors and management.
Stay updated with auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry trends.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
Uphold the highest standards of integrity, independence, and professional skepticism.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
