You will be responsible for verifying that the group of companies’
operational processes are in compliance with internal policies and procedures
and government regulations and laws. Consistently deliver an independent,
well-executed, risk based internal audit plan and conduct audits. Test the
adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems. You will ensure that
there is a robust risk management program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and
develop the strategic and annual internal audit work plan according to existing
risk profiles.
- Develop, update,
and maintain an internal audit manual with appropriate files (permanent and temporary),
working papers, checklists, client reports, and audit resources.
- Report all
findings to senior management and the board of directors.
- Coordinate with
external auditors.
- Provide
recommendations to strengthen internal control systems, improve policies and procedures,
and support the Company’s risk management strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA/ ACCA/ Certified Accountant
- Extensive audit experience (at least 3 years) with a reputable auditing firm.
- Strong probing, communication, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to effectively resolve complex issues.
- Strong written and presentation skills.
