Under strong leadership from your manager, you will support regional Corporate Quality Auditing Teams to understand and enhance internal control environments, risks, and mitigation activities to minimize the risks of Quality and Food safety at the Internal Mondelez Sites, External Manufactures, and most critical suppliers.
We are seeking a highly analytical and meticulous Remote Audit Analyst to join our Quality and Food Safety team. This role is crucial in supporting our on-site audit functions by proactively identifying key risks and areas for verification through comprehensive remote data analysis. The ideal candidate will leverage large datasets to provide actionable insights, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and food safety across our operations.
How you will contribute
You will:
Perform Data Collection & Analysis:
- Collect, compile, and critically analyze extensive datasets related to quality control, food safety, operational compliance, and supply chain performance.
- Identify trends, anomalies, statistical outliers, and potential risk indicators within the data that may impact product quality or food safety.
- Utilize various data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, statistical software, BI platforms, SAP) to interpret complex information and derive meaningful conclusions.
Remote Audit Support & Insight Generation:
- Develop and deliver concise, impactful reports and data-driven insights to on-site audit teams prior to their visits.
- Highlight critical aspects, elements, and specific areas that require in-depth verification during physical audits.
- Collaborate with on-site auditors to refine audit scope and focus based on data findings and emerging risks.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of remote auditing methodologies, data analysis techniques, and reporting formats.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes (e.g., FDA, GFSI standards like SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000), and emerging risks in food safety and quality.
- Ensure all data analysis and reporting activities align with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate complex data insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including auditors, quality managers, and operational teams.
- Deliver high quality reports with the insights identified during the analysis of the data and the audit conclusions.
- Foster strong collaborative relationships with on-site audit teams to ensure a seamless and effective audit process.
What you will bring

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a data analysis, quality assurance, food safety, or auditing role, with a strong emphasis on data interpretation.
- Proven experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Food Safety Management Systems from Mondelez
- Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and other statistical analysis techniques is a nice to have.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and an initiative-taking approach to identifying potential issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Food Engineer, Data Science, Chemistry or a similar one.
- Certifications in relevant food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, PCQI, SQF Practitioner, BRC Lead Auditor).
- Experience in the food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics for risk assessment.
