The Role
Who We Are

International Justice Mission (IJM) is the global leader in protecting vulnerable people from violence around the world. Our team of over 1,200 professionals are at work worldwide in over 30 offices. Together we are on a mission to rescue millions, protect half a billion, and make justice unstoppable.

We are a global community that cares for one another. We believe that the way we work is as important as the results we achieve. We provide professional excellence with joy and celebration to all those we serve.

The Need

For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking an Audience Insights Manager to join our Global Marketing team.

The Audience Insights Manager will play a catalytic role in moving hearts toward joining this mission. This position is about transforming how IJM understands and engages the people who fuel the mission. As a part of the Global Marketing organization, you will partner with regional and global teams to translate donor insights into actionable plans and strategy, connecting segmentation, behavioral data, and market trends to decisions that accelerate growth, deepen retention, and strengthen lifetime value.

This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to Global Director of Insights & Strategy and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.

  • Support annual and quarterly planning cycles with insight-based forecasts and recommendations.

  • Maintain segmentation models, audience definitions, and strategic documentation.

  • Build an agile testing toolkit for pre and in-market testing capabilities.

Communication

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders in clear, decision-ready formats.

  • Elevate risks or gaps in data that may impact strategic decisions.

  • Communicate trade-offs between short-term performance gains and long-term donor health.

  • Maintain responsive and proactive communication with project managers and cross-functional partners.

General Tasks

  • Participate in IJM’s community of spiritual formation.

  • Actively manage projects within work management systems.

  • Continuously strengthen analytical tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.

 Qualifications
  • 5+ years in analytics, donor insights, marketing strategy, or audience research;

  • Strong ability to connect data to business strategy;

  • Experience with CRM systems, dashboards, and performance reporting;

  • Skilled at influencing without formal authority;

  • Passionate about using insights to fuel mission-driven growth;

  • Ability to connect audience understanding (data, research, trends) to broader growth strategies. Moves fluidly between conceptual thinking and practical execution.;

  • Strong proficiency in analyzing data sets (survey-based data, behavioral/performance dashboards) and extracting clear, actionable insights. Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, and segmentation frameworks preferred;

  • Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into compelling, decision-ready narratives for cross-functional and senior leaders; and

  • Experiencing designing pre and in-market testing with agile tools and research partners.

Critical Qualities
  • Eager commitment to IJM's Core Values: Christian, Professional and Bridge-Building;

  • Highly curious and intellectual rigor. Naturally asks “why?” to seek patterns and deep understanding, challenges assumptions, pursues clarity over convenience;

  • Influence over authority: able to build trusting relationships across teams and levels within the organization and guide strategy through insight rather than positional power;

  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on distilling complex information into simple, actionable recommendations avoids unnecessary complexity; and

  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
