  • Work with consumer marketing and advertising operations teams to fulfill sold newsletter campaigns

  • Collaborate with associate producers to build and publish newsletters, index pages, and article pages in ways that grow the VF audience

  • Work closely with Condé Nast product development partners to help commission site and app improvements and bring them to fruition

  • Build relationships with editors and writers and help translate audience strategy into tangible steps in the editorial process

  • Pitch Vanity Fair reporting to external distribution channels, including Apple News

  • Build syndicated stories from VF Italy, France, and Spain to help extend the brand’s global reach

  • Understand on a granular level every performance metric used to evaluate Vanity Fair’s growth strategy, and how to manage those levers across site, search, and newsletters

  • Translate analytics and data insights into methods to proactively optimize content for audience growth

  • Collaborate with the edit, art, and social departments on promoting longform features, which are core to VF’s editorial strategy across platforms

  • Seek out global audience growth opportunities, from partnerships to platforms, working with the Director to implement new strategies in real time

  • Collaborate with the editorial and social teams for coverage of live events, including the VF Oscar Party, awards shows, elections, and other news moments, whether planned or breaking. On occasion, this work may extend into the evening or be needed on the weekends.

  • Develop relationships with audience development managers across other Condé Nast brands to share strategies and best practices

  • Work with the team to support sponsorships and events

  • Additional duties as needed or requested by management

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in publishing; editorial production or audience development familiarity preferred

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
