About the Role
Bonhams is seeking responsible, team-oriented, and driven part-time Auction Assistants to work at the Marlborough Gallery. This on-call, part-time role entails auction support as well as duties behind the scenes ranging from front desk coverage to hands-on work with material in house. Weekday shifts with evening and weekend work required. The flexibility of schedule is a must.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Preparing the gallery for auctions
- Assisting with pickups, previews, and events
- Unpacking, packing, and conducting inventory of property
- Participating in fundamental tasks during auctions
- Assisting with various administrative tasks
Key Skills and Attributes
- Must be able to lift 35 to 40 lbs and climb a ladder
- Willingness to work as a team as well as independently
- Strong interpersonal skills
