JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly driven Finance Operations Lead to oversee and scale our Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations while leading a high-performing finance operations team. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, strengthening client relationships, driving process improvements, and supporting long-term business scalability.
The successful candidate will transition from hands-on operational oversight into a more strategic leadership role focused on workforce planning, operational efficiency, client retention, and commercial contribution. This position plays a key role in building sustainable operational structures, improving service delivery, and contributing to the company’s long-term growth objectives.
The role offers a structured growth pathway with progressive leadership exposure, operational ownership, and future strategic responsibilities tied to performance milestones.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFinance Operations Management- Oversee day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and SLA compliance
- Monitor operational performance metrics and ensure service delivery standards are consistently achieved
- Identify operational risks, escalation points, and workflow inefficiencies across finance operations
- Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational scalability initiatives
- Develop and implement operational controls, governance measures, and business continuity processes
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance operations staff to improve accountability, performance, and operational ownership
- Drive delegation strategies and support the transition toward independent team management
- Conduct performance tracking, coaching sessions, and operational reviews
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving
- Support onsite operational cadence and team performance monitoring initiatives
- Serve as a primary point of contact for operational client communications, escalations, and service concerns
- Participate in client meetings, reporting reviews, and operational discussions
- Build strong client relationships to support retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth
- Provide operational updates, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic client conversations and business review discussions
- Drive SOP creation, process documentation, and workflow standardization across finance operations
- Lead operational improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and service quality
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
- Support capacity planning, forecasting, and operational reporting initiatives
- Contribute to commercial growth opportunities, operational expansion initiatives, and client success strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience managing Finance Operations, Shared Services, or BPO Finance teams
- Strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Experience handling client-facing communications, operational reviews, and escalations
- Strong understanding of SLA management, operational controls, and process improvement methodologies
- Experience creating SOPs, workflow documentation, and operational reporting frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in workforce planning, operational scalability, and business continuity planning is highly preferred
- Commercial awareness and exposure to client growth or expansion initiatives is an advantage
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and finance operational systems
- Strategic thinking and operational ownership
- Ability to transition from execution-focused management to leadership and commercial contribution
