The ATM Claims Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing armored carrier variance claims, ensuring timely investigation, accurate documentation, and effective resolution of discrepancies. This role serves as a subject matter expert for claims processes, supports operational improvements, and collaborates with internal teams and vendors to minimize losses and improve claim outcomes.
- Review reconciliation logs and transaction records to identify ATM cash variances and shortages.
- Investigate claims and gather supporting documentation required for vendor submissions.
- Prepare and submit claim packages to armored vendors in accordance with established procedures.
- Follow up on open claims and track resolution status.
- Escalate complex or high-risk claims to management when appropriate.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of claim documentation and supporting evidence.
- Perform detailed reviews of vendor responses and claim outcomes.
- Identify discrepancies, trends, and recurring issues impacting claim resolution.
- Support quality assurance reviews and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain organized claim records and supporting documentation.
- Maintain claims trackers, aging reports, and loss reporting tools.
- Analyze claim trends and identify root causes of recurring variances.
- Generate regular reports and provide insights to support operational decision-making.
- Assist in developing dashboards and reporting improvements using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve claim handling efficiency and documentation quality.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to reconciliation and claims management.
- Recommend enhancements to tracking tools, workflows, and reporting mechanisms.
- Partner with reconciliation teams to validate variances and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate directly with armored vendors regarding claim status and documentation requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to analysts and stakeholders as needed.
- Assist management with special projects and claim-related initiatives.
- Utilize CORE, CATM-DC Pro/In-house Recon App, Device Manager, and Vendor Reporting tools to support daily activities.
- Maintain and enhance claim tracking workbooks and reporting templates.
- Ensure data accuracy across systems and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and root causes.
- Advanced Excel skills including reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and within a team environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in banking operations, reconciliations, claims processing, settlements, or financial operations.
- Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
- Basic SQL and/or Python knowledge is a plus, but not required.
