We are seeking a skills and dynamic IT Enterprise Tools Administrator with expertise in administration and support of Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM, JPD, Guard, Compass, OpsGenie, etc.) as well as enterprise tools such as project management tools (Smartsheet), design/collaboration tools (Miro) and more. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, configuration, support, license management, compliance and optimization of these tools, contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in administering Atlassian tools, Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery, Guard, Compass, OpsGenie, Smartsheet, Artifactory and PagerDuty.
- Experience with scripting/programming languages - Java, Groovy, Javascript
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Enterprise Tool Administration:
- Administer and maintain Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM, JPD, Guard, Compass, OpsGenie, etc.), Smartsheet, Miro and more
- Configure and customize tools to align with organizational needs.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the tools
- Work with stakeholders to intake new/replacement tool requests, rationalize tools usage and redundancies with similar tools in use, conduct tool evaluation, feature comparisons and pilot projects with various vendors based on stakeholder needs, working with procurement team
- Develop and automate using Java, Groovy, Javascript programming as needed, especially in Jira, Jira Service Management,
- User Support and Training:
- Provide user support for tools, addressing issues, and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and team members on effective utilization of the tools
- Integration and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enterprise tools into existing workflows and processes
- Implement and manage integrations between enterprise tools and other IT systems
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
- Generate reports and analytics to assess the effectiveness of our enterprise tools
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for enterprise tool configurations, processes, and best practices
- Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and enhancements
- Implement and enforce security measures within our tools.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
- License Management and Compliance:
- Manage license allocation and cleanup of unused/inactive licenses
- Ensure compliance with licenses procured vs allocated.
- License reporting
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to enterprise tools.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance the functionality and efficiency of the tools.
