Position Summary:
The Division of University Communications at Florida Atlantic University is seeking a part time Athletics Marketing Assistant in Boca Raton, FL.
The Division of University Communications functions as an in-house team that works to enhance the University's public presence, strengthen the FAU brand, and help our colleagues across campus share the stories of their individual units in an engaging and professional manner. The Marketing Assistant,
in collaboration with creative and communications teams, will assist with email marketing campaigns, digital promotions, and content creation.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary marketing contact for Men’s Soccer and Women’s Soccer.
Serve as the secondary marketing contact for Women’s Basketball and Softball.
Develop and execute marketing plans to drive attendance, engagement, and revenue at all assigned sports.
Coordinate and execute game presentation elements, including promotions, scripts, fan engagement activities, and in-game entertainment.
Assist with email marketing campaigns, digital promotions, and content creation in collaboration with creative and communications teams.
Oversee and manage the Athletics Kids Club program, including membership engagement, activations, and game day experiences.
Support Football game day marketing operations, including fan engagement activations and promotions.
Collaborate with internal departments such as ticket sales, brand and creative, and communications.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the marketing department and athletic events.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required.Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Up to one year of experience with sports marketing, event execution, or fan engagement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on athletic event schedules.
Passion for college athletics and fan experience.
