Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or related field and One (1) year of experience with a collegiate or professional football program; experience may include work as a collegiate graduate assistant, full-time position coach, and/or NFL scouting experience. Knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and regulations. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, and travel for competition. Grade 6 (Salaried)

Position Description:

The Athletic Recruiting Specialist I (Assistant Recruiting Coordinator – Football) will support the Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football) and Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting) with recruiting prospective student-athletes for the University of Louisville Football Program. This position will report to the Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting) and Chief of Staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football), to develop brand strategies that enhance recruiting efforts and support the overall recruitment process.

  • Assist Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football) and Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting) in evaluating potential prospects.

  • Work with Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football), Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting), and Assistant Coaches to execute recruiting plans, develop talent, and evaluate recruiting, game, and practice video.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Chief of Staff, and Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working experience in a collegiate, Division I FBS Football program.

  • Working knowledge of XOS or other related digital coaching software, Hudl, and Twitter.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Effective administrative and organizational skills and ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and projects according to deadlines.

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
