As our Assistant Manager Marketing SEO, you will lead the rankings of all our products to number one on the web and ensure we stay in that position. Working directly with our Head of Acquisition, you will formulate and apply the best industry techniques to increase page rankings and organic traffic. You will own complete responsibility for the technical and content-based SEO roadmap for the quarter and year, and execute it efficiently with the help of Content, Engineering, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, communicate, and execute an effective strategy that will significantly increase SEO rankings and organic search traffic.

• Conduct research and analyses using multiple tools, including Google Analytics, Adwords, Keyword search, etc., to draw insights and develop new strategies for improving rankings and conversions.

• Auditing and analyzing: identify issues, find the root cause, and experiment with solutions at scale to improve SEO performance.

• Work with the web development team to implement necessary changes to improve site performance and user experience.

• Stay updated on industry trends and contemporary practices in SEO, and Google algorithm updates. Understand the implications for our business and take action to quickly seize the opportunity and reduce risk.

• Build high-quality backlinks and collaborate with 3rd party agencies for high-authority websites to post content based on high search traffic and brand relevance.

• Identify strategic opportunities and prioritize them against other tactical actions to achieve a balance between short-term and long-term performance.

• Prepare detailed reports on rankings, traffic, and conversion data.

• Must have a proven track record of delivering high growth in SEO traffic for a business operating at a big scale.

• Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.

• A basic understanding of HTML and JavaScript, and MS Excel skills.

• Aware of the latest industry trends and strategies in SEO and organic growth.

• Creative and data-driven with advanced problem-solving and reasoning skills.
