Binomial Real Estate supports Blackstone's residential mortgage portfolio business. Binomial manages a portfolio of GSE-eligible Master Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSRs) along with non-GSE-eligible MSRs and business-purpose loans, providing critical asset pre-acquisition due diligence and vendor oversight. Why this role is valuable
The Associate/Senior Associate Loan Servicing Oversight and Investor Reporting's primary responsibility is supporting the Blackstone residential mortgage business by managing the following components: servicer oversight, and life of loan performance review. The Senior Associate's role will support each of these functions under the guidance of the SVP of Loan Servicing Oversight. This position will interact directly with the trading desk, internal business groups, clients and external vendors.
How you add value

• Review monthly remittance reports for all clients and work with servicers/trustees to resolve any issues
• Track/distribute all monthly remit reports
• Review Monthly Trustee Reports for Securitizations before report publication
• Review all payment transactions for accuracy daily through SBO
• Upload and resolve all breaks for monthly remittances loan level expenses to the internal database
• Interim Remittances - coordinate interim remittances and interim payments with insurance clients
• Resolve daily breaks for CRBG between Clearwater and/or Aladdin
• Process owner of wire details, flow of funds, trustee questions, general remittance questions
• Real Estate Owned sales cash posting and reconciliation
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Required:
Binomial Real Estate seeks to hire motivated individuals, experienced in the subject matter area, detail-oriented while working within hard deadlines mandated by regulation, and self-sufficient in a remote work environment. The successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Servicing Oversight
• Ability to accurately review cash and non-cash transactions and resolve breaks as needed.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in business purpose residential mortgages (i.e., bridge/fix and flip loans, single-family rental loans) and Non-QM/Jumbo mortgages.
• The ideal candidate will also have experience in creating, reviewing, and maintaining mortgage remittance reports
• Must have a working knowledge of mortgage documents and understand the life cycle.
• Robust computer data and presentation skills and significant experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SBO2000 (preferred)
• Residential mortgage credit and underwriting experience and knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with attention to detail.
• Experience in the management of relationships with external vendors.

As of the date on which this job advertisement is posted, Binomial anticipates that the base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 (this represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company's base salary range for this position). Total direct compensation may also include discretionary bonus and/or incentive compensation. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
