Purpose of Position
To gain the skills and experience necessary to become a commercial real estate broker, by driving business development, generating leads, assisting with market data/research and working on all aspects of the transaction process. The incumbent is licensed and will work alongside an experienced, highly successful team in the selling, leasing and marketing of commercial real estate properties and developing tenant representation opportunities. This role provides proactive and direct assistance to the team and to external clients.

Ideally, you’ll have previous sales and/or service experience (although not required), not afraid of business development and won’t take no for an answer. You have a general understanding of excel and the ability to create and understand cash flow statements. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own territory while accessing a global network of market-leading management, research, marketing and brokerage experts to support you.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Business Development
• Maintain direct contact with prospects by canvassing office buildings in person, cold calling and driving marketing efforts with the objective of increasing client awareness of available properties and finding tenant representations opportunities
• Identify and qualify leads, contacts, and opportunities, and have accountability to the team for your efforts each week
Proposals and Presentations
• Work with the team to create and prepare content for presentations
• Work with the team and leadership on creating market data for clients
• Assist the team with content development for transaction proposals and analysis
Client/Agent Support
• Assist with on-site tours of properties with clients or prospects
• Gather information packages specifically tailored to each client, which may include preparing tenant surveys, summary reports, maps, presentations, progress reports, and analysis
Transaction Management
• Draft or edit documents (letters of intent, offers, commission agreements, listing agreements, and marketing brochures
Qualifications and Knowledge:
• Real estate license required.
• A post-secondary diploma or degree is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and fully insured automobile is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills – can build rapport and credibility quickly with people at all levels.
• Experience in the Commercial real estate sector or a related industry is considered a strong asset.
• General knowledge of excel and database management
• Always responsive and have good communication skills
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Live in and/or near the San Fernando Valley

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: 100% Commission Based
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
