YOUR NEW ROLE

• Support and maintain production systems and applications, ensuring high availability and stability across IOD, Azure and AWS infrastructure.
• Work across the full support lifecycle — incident, change, problem and configuration management (ITIL) — through to deployment, patching and Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex production issues, engaging in hands-on technical work and technical spikes where needed.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call roster to restore services and applications in line with business needs.
• Review system and E2E (where appropriate) artefacts to ensure quality requirements are met, and actively contribute to Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, infrastructure and business stakeholders to ensure the success of service delivery.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 5+ years' experience in production/application support, ideally within banking and/or finance, with HNW banking and trading domain exposure preferred.
• Strong ITIL experience across Incident, Change, DR, Problem and Configuration Management — ITIL certification desirable.
• Hands-on expertise with distributed, event-driven systems and messaging middleware (IBM MQ, Apache Kafka), plus AWS and/or Azure services
• Solid Windows systems administration, build and automation tooling ( Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube) and broad exposure to PL/SQL, MS SQL, API/Microservices, Control-M/Autosys, Java, ServiceNow, Splunk, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, Jira and GitHub.
• Practical experience with AI tools such as Cursor and Co-pilot, and technical support experience across front, middle and back office trading operations.
• A tertiary qualification in a technology-related degree, backed by strong communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for high-quality, timely delivery.
