You New Role

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with 8–10 years of experience in the Regulatory Reporting or Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven ability to engage with stakeholders across business and technology teams. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality reporting solutions.

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders and regulatory teams.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications.
  • Ask insightful questions to uncover hidden requirements and ensure comprehensive understanding.
  • Collaborate with users to validate requirements, clarify doubts, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct impact analysis for regulatory changes and assess implications on existing systems and processes.
  • Drive data analysis, reconciliation, and validation to support accurate and timely reporting.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between business, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Support UAT planning and execution, including test case creation and defect triaging.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Use tools like JIRA or Rally to manage user stories, track progress, and collaborate with development teams.
  • Mentor junior BAs and contribute to best practices in business analysis.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Finance, Business or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Regulatory Reporting or Capital Markets.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MAS etc).
  • Excellent analyticalproblem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in writing user stories, use cases, and process documentation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRARally, or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL or data querying tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and market data.

  Qualification Requirements (Optional) 

  • Experience with regulatory reporting platforms.
  • Exposure to data governancedata lineage, and data quality initiatives.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
  • Experience working with global teams and multi-jurisdictional regulations
