The Role

Associate Vice President, Channel Activation (Digital)

As the Associate Vice President of Channel Activation (Digital) at 5WPR, you will lead the strategic development, execution, and optimization of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns. Leveraging your extensive expertise in digital marketing and leadership, you will drive client success by orchestrating cohesive strategies across various platforms. This senior role demands a visionary leader capable of aligning cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and delivering measurable results that align with client objectives and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Vision

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with client goals and drive business growth.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to keep the agency at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate campaign success and inform future strategies.​

Cross-Functional Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with creative, content, analytics, and account teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating professional development and skill enhancement.​

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and providing insights to drive campaign success.
  • Present campaign strategies, performance reports, and optimization plans to clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships.​

Budget and Resource Allocation

  • Develop and manage budgets for digital marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenditures and ROI, making data-driven decisions to optimize budget utilization.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms and services.​

Performance Analysis and Optimization

  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Report on key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.​

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Encourage a culture of experimentation and learning within the team to drive innovation.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and platforms to enhance campaign capabilities and efficiency.​

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on channel activation and campaign management.
  • Proven leadership experience, managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, search, display, email, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in analytics and measurement tools, such as Google Analytics, to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and achieve ROI targets.
