The Health & Technology Innovation Center at ChristianaCare is looking for an Associate UX Analyst to join their award-winning team of designers, developers, and user experience experts.
The Associate UX Analyst is focused on understanding the users' needs and implementing delightful, supportable, and value-added solutions designed with the user in mind.
The successful candidate is naturally curious about emerging technology, comfortable working alongside designers, developers, and customers, and is adept at human-centered design testing and research. The Analyst should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of organization, as well as a keen eye for detail and ability to apply critical thinking to a range of projects while backing up ideas with data.
Our portfolio is a combination of web and mobile applications, VR & AR experiences, wearables, devices, and much more. As an Associate UX Analyst in the Innovation Center, the role works as part of an agile development team to bring a superior competitive experience to our products in a way that earns the complete trust and respect of our users and all who come to know us.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct human-centered design research, develop and execute test plans, and convert observations into actionable and meaningful insights
- Support and facilitate design thinking activities, agile development methodologies, and discovery workshops
- Maintain the Innovation Center's application portfolio, perform thorough market research, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance usability and accessibility
- Manage backlog enhancements, monitor deliverables, and assist with the development of innovative prototypes
- Understand and document customer needs, requirements, and technical specifications
- Provide first-level support for the Innovation Center portfolio of products and act as the liaison between the team and IT Support Analysts
- Represent the Innovation Center during tours, presentations, and other events both inside and outside traditional business hours and locations
- Work both independently and collaboratively with key stakeholders and manage and communicate priorities and tasks often within tight time boxes
- Perform assigned work and other related duties as required, frequently outside of traditional business hours
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in UX, Interaction, Entrepreneurship, or related STEM programs. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in project management, agile development, systems analysis or similar field
- Experience with human-centered design, user experience best practices, and design thinking methodologies
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple competing priorities and projects
- Experience with software and/or hardware user support
- Aptitude for learning quickly and possess strong attention to detail
