The Role

Innovapptive has been growing rapidly as our Connected Worker Platform becomes the software of choice for industrial companies across the globe. We are now ready to double down and hit the accelerate button and increase our market penetration. We are looking for Technical Writers who will produce high-quality text & video content that is appropriate for its intended audience. 

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
• Produce high-quality content that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
• Write easy-to-understand user guides, configuration guides, install / upgrade guides and developer guides, and online help
• Create tutorials to help end-users learn and use software products
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture
• Write release notes for hotfixes and send release communications
• Develop product videos for end users

What You Bring to The Team:

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in authoring various types of technical content such as configuration guides, release notes, user guides, and so on.
• Have attention to details and deliver high quality content
• Quickly grasp complex technical concepts and present them in easy to understand text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of DITA XML and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and Agile software development
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, English, Communications or equivalent preferred
