Who We Are
Increff is a leading retail SaaS partner helping brands and retailers solve complex merchandising, inventory planning, and supply chain challenges. Our products help retailers make better planning decisions across demand forecasting, merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, buying, allocation, replenishment, and in-season management.
What We Offer
We build retail technology products for brands and retailers operating at scale. At Increff, you will work on complex planning systems that combine domain workflows, data models, forecasting engines, business rules, and user-facing decision tools.
This role offers the opportunity to shape a 0-to-1 merchandising planning platform from the ground up.
Our Vision
To be the most admired retail technology company.
Who should apply:
This role is ideal for candidates with minimum 1 year of software engineering experience who are looking to transition into Product Management. If you already have 2+ years in software engineering experience along with 1+ years of product management experience, explore our Technical Product Manager role for greater ownership of product strategy, architecture, and roadmap decisions.
Job Summary
As a Associate Technical Product Manager you'll work closely with senior PMs and engineers to translate business requirements into PRDs, workflow diagrams, and screen mockups — learning how a scalable, enterprise-grade platform gets built from the inside out.
This role is built for someone early in their product career who wants to develop real technical depth, understanding data models, business rules, and system architecture well enough to write specs engineers can build from without back-and-forth. You'll execute, iterate fast, and grow into owning larger pieces of the product.
Responsibilities
  • Support product discovery for an assigned product area by gathering requirements, documenting user workflows, and identifying edge cases under the guidance of a senior PM.
  • Write clear, structured PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering can build against without ambiguity.
  • Create workflow diagrams, screen flows, and clickable prototypes using Figma, Cursor, or similar tools to communicate product intent.
  • Translate business processes and enterprise SOPs into documented logic, covering the common cases first and flagging edge cases for senior review.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions with tech leads — asking the right questions, understanding trade-offs, and building platform intuition rather than owning the decision.
  • Maintain end-to-end documentation: PRDs, workflow notes, screen flows, and acceptance criteria, kept current as requirements evolve.
  • Coordinate sprint planning and backlog grooming — organizing tickets, tracking dependencies, and keeping delivery on schedule alongside engineering.
  • Support internal and client-facing demos, learning to explain product workflows to sales, customer success, and implementation teams.
  • Track feature requests and surface conflicts or scalability concerns to senior PMs rather than resolving them independently.
  • Assist in researching and documenting requirements for AI-powered features.

Requirements
  • Mandatory engineering degree.
  • Minimum Mandatory 1 year of software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development.
  • Ability to write PRDs, define API expectations, and collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, scalability, and performance.
  • Comfortable working with complex data models, workflows, business rules, and configurable enterprise systems.
  • Ability to create UI mocks, workflow diagrams, and prototypes without depending on a dedicated design team.
  • Understanding of modular design, technical debt, platform thinking, configurability, and system extensibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present roadmaps, host demos, align stakeholders, and explain complex planning workflows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
