Job Summary

We seek an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to provide L2/L3 support for complex SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, Solution Manager, BTP, Azure hosted environments, and SAP Web applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in BASIS and HANA/Sybase database administration, proactive issue resolution, and cross functional coordination in a managed service delivery model. This role demands operational excellence, SLA adherence, and continuous learning in a dynamic global support setup.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver L2/L3 technical support for SAP BASIS infrastructure in line with SLAs and KPIs.
Manage SAP systems including S/4HANA, Solman, BTP, and SAP Web apps hosted on Azure.
Perform upgrades, kernel patching, add on installs, and SSL certificate management.
Administer HANA and Sybase databases: backup, recovery, tuning, and space management.
Execute BASIS operations: system refreshes, client copies, parameter changes, job scheduling, RFC configuration, and SICF services.
Handle P1/P2 incidents with urgency, ensuring timely resolution and de escalation.
Monitor performance, memory usage, and troubleshoot critical issues across landscapes.
Participate in RCA, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with cross functional teams for seamless 24/7 global support.
Track and report SLA/KPI metrics; ensure ITIL compliance.
Support onboarding and mentoring of juniors; contribute to knowledge sharing.
Stay current with SAP technologies and pursue cross skilling opportunities.
Participate in team meetings, service reviews, and governance forums.
Prior ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services) experience is an advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies

Strong hands on SAP BASIS administration (5‿10 years).
Proficiency in S/4HANA, Solman, BTP, and SAP Web apps.
Expertise in HANA and Sybase database operations.
Solid grasp of system architecture, tuning, and memory management.
Experience in managed service delivery and global support.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA/KPI tracking.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and coordinate across teams.
Willingness to work rotational shifts supporting critical operations.
