Boeing Brazil is seeking Associate Structural Analysis Engineer, with knowledge of stress analysis methods, engineering principles and coordination skills, reporting to the Structures Manager, working in the São José dos Campos office.
The Associate Structural Analysis Engineer will join Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structures team and will develop and provide support to the 7-Series Boeing aircraft, focused on Fuselage.
Position Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the strength and integrity of structural non-conformances and repairs under the guidance of senior engineers.• Apply fundamental structural analysis principles to support the assessment and resolution of product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.• Review of MRB dispositions for structural integrity, helping to identify and document deviations that may affect design intent or safety.• Contribute to developing alternative repair recommendations in collaboration with Liaison Engineering to meet structural requirements.• Assist in coordinating with regulatory agencies and representatives to support certification activities for airplane structural components.• Support investigations into in-service product failures by gathering data and performing preliminary analysis to identify potential improvements.• Manage assigned tasks effectively, prioritizing work with supervision and escalating issues as needed.• Follow LEAN best practices to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.• Collaborate with customers and internal teams, such as Liaison Engineering and Operations, to support project goals and build positive working relationships.• Communicate progress and findings clearly with lead engineers, team members, and management, seeking guidance when necessary.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor. • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.• Early experience in Structural Engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
• Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).• Familiarity with CAD software (Catia and/or others).• Familiarity with CAE software for FEM (Patran, Hypermesh, Abaqus etc.).• Understanding of compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA).• Experience with Fleet Support and Repair's design and substantiation.• Knowledge of Aircraft Manuals, such as SRM, AMM, MRB, AIPC and others.• Experience with aircraft production line, production support, short-term and long-term design solutions.• Occasional travel may be required in support of the program and customer.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in an engineering environment.
